演讲人学术背景：

Li Yu received her Ph.D (2007) in Linguistics from the  University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, MA (2002) in Linguistics  and BA (2000) in English Language and Literature from Peking  University. She joined Emory University as a lecturer of Chinese language and culture in 2007. Her current projects include developing  a course on Chinese orthography as cultural identity and exploring the  use of technology in the teaching and learning of Chinese language and culture.
