各有关院系：

作为金融危机的应对措施之一，教育部于2009/2010学年起设立了优秀自费生奖学金，用于资助经济困难的优秀自费来华留学本科生。鉴于此奖学金项目的良好效果，教育部决定2012/2013学年在我校设立该奖学金。现就有关评选事宜通知如下：

In order to encourage the excellent foreign self-funded students all over the world to study at JiNan University, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has set up a scholarship program for excellent foreign self-funded students. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows.

一、奖学金名额

根据自费外国留学生本科生人数，我校共有20个奖学金名额。
    According to the number of foreign self-funded students in our university, the Ministry of Education (MOE) provides 20 scholarship winners for the 2012-2013 academic year.

二、提供对象

原则上向本科二年级以上（不含毕业班学生）、品学兼优、无挂科违纪、有经济困难的自费留学生提供。2010-2011年度已获得其他奖助学金的学生除外。

Eligibility for application

The applicant must satisfy following conditions：

1．Undergraduate students（except freshman and senior）.

2. Family financial difficulty student.

3. Foreign students at their own expenses.

4. Have not gained any other scholarship during this academic year(2010-2011).

5. Pass in all subjects and no disciplinary record in the last academic year.

三、奖学金金额

2012/2013学年生活费（以五个月计算），标准：1400元/月，共7000元/年。

Scholarship Amount：￥7000 per year（Monthly stipend：￥1400 per month，total to 5 months）

四、 申报程序

个人申请（即日起－6月5日）→院系初评推荐（6月6日－6月8日）→学校评审（6月9日－6月12日）→校内公示（6月13日－19日）→基金委审定

Individual application(5.29-6.5)→College selection(6.6-6.8)→University selection（6.9-6.12）→Scholar public list(6.13-6.19)→China scholarship council reconfirmation

五、申请材料：
（1）《暨南大学优秀外国留学生奖学金申请表》

（2）在学证明
（3）在校期间的成绩单

The necessary materials for application include:

（2）Student certificate（Academic Affairs Office）

（3）Undergraduate transcript（Academic Affairs Office）

Please hand in the above materials to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before 6^th June, overdue is inadmissible.

请各院系根据条件推荐留学生，并于2012年6月8日前将推荐学生的申请材料送交学生处外国留学生办公室（行政楼320室），联系电话：85222317。

附：学院推荐名额分配

1.留学生人数30人以下，请各推荐1名学生：法学院、国际关系学院、深圳旅游学院、药学院、翻译学院、国际商学院、文学院、电气信息学院、人文学院、信息科学技术学院、理工学院、外国语学院、新闻与传播学院、医学院

2.留学生人数30-100人，请各推荐2名学生：经济学院、管理学院

3.留学生人数300人以上，请各推荐6名学生：国际学院、华文学院
