各院系：
为进一步推进我省高等教育国际化，加快发展我省来华留学工作，我省从2013年起以省政府名义设立广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金。根据《广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金管理暂行办法》的有关规定和要求，省教育厅和省财政厅已将具体名额及评审要求下发至各个高校，请全体同学把握好截止时间及时申请，各学院要做好学生的申请及审核工作。现将有关事项通知如下：
In order to promote the internalization of Guangdong High Education, advancing the development of overseas students’ management, the government decided to set up scholarship for international students studying in universities of Guangdong. The relevant requirements of application are hereby notified as follows.
一、 报名截止时间：2013年10月22日
Deadline of application: October 22, 2013
二、 分配名额（详见附件1）
三、 奖励标准：不分等级，每生每学年奖励人民币10000元。
Amount : ￥10000 per academic year
四、 评选对象：本科二年级以上（接受正式学历教育课程一年或以上）、品学兼优、必修课程无挂科、没有违反中国法律法规和违反校规校纪行为纪录。
五、 评选条件：
（一）拥有外国国籍，持有有效外国护照并符合在华留学的相关要求；
（二）具有相应的汉语水平并提供相关证明（部分直接用英语授课的专业可适当放宽条件）；
（三）年龄在40周岁以下；
（四）在校期间已享受或正在享受中国政府（及）其他各类奖学金的外国留学生不再享受此项奖励。
Eligibility for application
The applicant must satisfy following conditions：
1．Full-time undergraduate students of Jinan University（not includes freshman）who are aged under 40-year-old.
2. International students with foreign passports and valid visa.
3. Have not awarded any other scholarship during this academic year.
4. Passed in all compulsory subjects and no disciplinary records in the last academic year.
5. Mastering good level of Chinese language skills and are able to provide relevant statement (except for students studying in English-taught programs).
六、评审程序：
（一）符合条件的学生，采取自主申报和院系推荐的方式，填写《广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金申请表》（详见附件2），向所在系、院提交申请；
（二）院系受理学生的申请材料后，对学生的实际情况进行审核，并将结果在学院内公示，公示无异议后按学校分配的上报名额推荐候选人，于2013年10月24日前将学生《申请表》及学院排好序的推荐人《汇总表》（详见附件3）等纸质版材料，由学院负责人签字盖章后报学生处外国留学生管理办公室（行政楼320室，电话85222317），并将电子版发到fsmjnu@163.com。珠海校区四个专业学院的材料请先集中交到珠海校区学工办处汇总预审后，再报送学生处审核；
（三）学校对申请材料进行最终审核，确定推荐名单并进行公示；
（四）学校将推荐获奖学生以多于分配名额的10%报送省教育厅和省财厅，排序较后的学生存在无法获奖的可能，最终获奖学生名单由省教育厅和省财厅审核后才可确定。
The necessary documents for application include:
1. Application Form For Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship（Please download the form from this page）
2. School attendance certificate（from Academic Affairs Office）
3. Undergraduate transcript（from Academic Affairs Office）
4. Copy of passport (include pages of personal information and valid visa)
5. Statement of Chinese Language Level if possible.
Please hand in the above documents to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before October 22, overdue is inadmissible.
Notice: Student Affairs Office will submit recommendation list of candidates (the number will be more than 10% of applicants who are allowed to be awarded) to Department of Education and Department of Finance of Guangdong Province. The Awarding List of scholarship will be ultimately confirmed by above departments.
说明： 1. 已获得该奖学金的申请人将不再具备申请教育部和国务院侨办港澳台侨及华人学生各项奖学金的资格；
2. 请各学院填写好推荐学生申请表中“学习主要课程及效果评价”部分，并按学生的个人成绩及综合表现进行排序填写学院汇总表。
3. 各学院需要报送的推荐材料包括：学生《申请表》及学院《汇总表》（学院主管领导签字并加盖公章）原件各一份，《申请表》叠放顺序请按照《汇总表》排序，并用铅笔在首页右上角注明序号；上述材料的电子版各一份，《申请表》文件名请注明推荐学生人选在《汇总表》中的序号。
4. 申请学生如经批准获奖，学校将根据其学号所对应的银行账号统一发放奖学金。
附件：1. 学院推荐名额分配
（1）留学生人数5人以下的学院，请各推荐1名学生：文学院、国际关系学院、理工学院、信息科学技术学院、药学院、人文学院、翻译学院、电气信息学院、深圳旅游学院
（2）留学生人数6-20人的学院，请各推荐2名学生: 外国语学院、新闻与传播学院、医学院、国际商学院
(3) 留学生人数21-50人的学院，请各推荐6名学生：经济学院、管理学院
（4）留学生人数100人以上的学院，请各推荐27名学生：国际学院、华文学院
