关于开展2014-2015学年优秀自费来华留学生奖学金评选的通知
2014-2015 Excellent Foreign Self-funded Students' Scholarship in Jinan University
教育部于2009/2010学年起设立了优秀自费生奖学金，用于资助经济困难的优秀自费来华留学本科生。鉴于此奖学金项目的良好效果，教育部决定2014/2015学年在我校继续设立该项奖学金。现就有关评选事宜通知如下：
In order to encourage the excellent foreign self-funded students worldwide to study at Jinan University, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has set up a scholarship program for excellent foreign self-funded students. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows.
一、奖学金名额
根据自费外国留学生本科生人数，我校共有9个奖学金名额。
According to the number of foreign self-funded students in our university, the Ministry of Education (MOE) provides 9 scholarship candidates for the 2014-2015 academic year.
二、申请条件
原则上面向本科二年级以上全日制（不含毕业班学生）、品学兼优、无不及格及违纪现象、经济困难的自费留学生提供。已获得国侨办海外华文教师奖学金的留学生除外。
Eligibility for application
The applicant must satisfy following conditions：
1.Undergraduate students（except for freshman and senior students）.
2. Family financial difficulty students.
3. Foreign students at their own expenses.
4. Passed in all subjects and no disciplinary records in the last academic year.
5. Have not gained Scholarship of Chinese language and education by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
三、奖励金额
提供一次性奖励： 18,000元/一学年
Scholarship Amount：￥18000 per year
四、评审程序
个人申请（即日起－4月11日）→院系初评推荐（4月12日－4月15日）→学校评审（4月16日－4月20日）→校内公示（4月21日－27日）→中国国家留学基金委员会审定并确定最终获奖名单
Process of Application:
Application by individuals(4.4-4.11)→Selecting candidates by college(4.12-4.15)→Approval of recommended applicants by Student Affairs Office（4.16-4.20）→Publicity of recommended students list(4.21-4.27)→Reconfirmation final awards list by China Scholarship Council
五、申请材料
（一）《2014-2015学年暨南大学优秀自费来华留学生奖学金申请表》(见附件2)
（二）在学证明（教务处开具）
（三）在校期间的成绩单（教务处开具）
（四）三张个人彩色证件照
The necessary materials for application include:
（1）Application Form of Jinan University Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship（Download from this website）
（2）School attendance certificate（by Academic Affairs Office）
（3）Undergraduate transcript（by Academic Affairs Office）
（4）Three identification photos（passport standard）
Please hand in the above materials to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before 11th April, overdue will be inadmissible.
请各院系组织、指导学生申请并按要求准备好材料，根据条件推荐获奖留学生。留学生人数100人以下的学院，各推荐1名学生；留学生人数100人以上的学院，各推荐2名学生。按推荐顺序填写《2014-2015学年暨南大学优秀自费来华留学生奖学金汇总表》（加盖学院公章），于2014年4月15日前将推荐学生的申请材料与推荐汇总表报送学生处外国留学生管理办公室（校本部行政楼320室），联系人：谭老师，电话：020-85222317。
