关于开展2018-2019学年优秀自费来华留学生奖学金评选的通知
Information about 2018-2019 Excellent Foreign Self-funded Students' Scholarship
教育部于2009/2010学年起设立了优秀自费生奖学金，用于资助经济困难的优秀自费来华留学本科生。鉴于此奖学金项目的良好效果，教育部决定2018/2019学年在我校继续设立该项奖学金。现就有关评选事宜通知如下：
In order to encourage the excellent foreign self-funded students worldwide to study at Jinan University, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has set up a scholarship program for excellent foreign self-funded students. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows.
一、奖学金名额
根据自费外国留学生本科生人数，我校共有10个奖学金正选名额。
According to the number of foreign self-funded students in our university, the Ministry of Education (MOE) provides 7 scholarship candidates for the 2018-2019 academic year.
二、申请条件
1.本科二年级以上全日制（不含毕业班学生），学习成绩优异，无不及格及违纪现象，具备较强的学习研究能力。
2.对华态度友好，在华表现优秀。
3.遵纪守法，身心健康，全面发展。
4.积极参加各项文体活动或社会实践活动；有突出事迹者优先。
5.同等条件下，家庭经济条件困难者优先。
注：已获得国侨办海外华文教师奖学金的留学生除外。
Eligibility for application
The applicant must satisfy following conditions：
1.Undergraduate students（except for freshman and senior students）.
2. Foreign students at their own expenses.
3.Passed in all subjects and no disciplinary records in the last academic year.
4. Have not gained Scholarship of Chinese language and education by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
5. If applicants with same conditions, students from families that with financial difficulty could be considered first.
三、奖励金额
提供一次性奖励： 18,000元/一学年
Scholarship Amount：￥18000 per academic year
四、评审程序
个人申请（即日起－5月23日）→院系初评推荐（5月23日－24日）→学校评审（5月24日－25日）→校内公示（5月25日－31日）→中国国家留学基金委员会审定并确定最终获奖名单
Process of Application:
Application by individuals(May 21-23)→Selecting candidates by college(May 23-24)→Approval of recommended applicants by Student Affairs Office（May 24-25）→Publicity of recommended students list(May 25-31)→Reconfirmation final awards list by China Scholarship Council
五、申请材料
（一）《2018-2019学年优秀自费来华留学生奖学金申请表》（电子填写，请勿手写，见附件2)
（二）在学证明（学校教务处开具版本）
（三）在校期间的成绩单（学校教务处开具版本）
（四）两张个人彩色证件照
（五）《我的留华故事》一篇（题目不限，字数不少于800字）
（六）学院出具的推荐函
(七)其他辅助材料
The necessary materials for application include:
（1）Application Form of Jinan University Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship（Download from this website）
（2）School attendance certificate（by Academic Affairs Department of Jinan University）
（3）Undergraduate transcript（by Academic Affairs Department of Jinan University）
（4）Two identification photos（passport standard）
（5）Write a composition about my stay in China (no less than 800 words)
（6）Recommendation letter
（7）Supplementary materials.
Please hand the above materials in to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before May 23th, overdue will be inadmissible.
请各院系组织、指导学生申请并按要求准备好材料，根据条件推荐获奖留学生。留学生人数（本科二年级以上全日制；不含毕业班学生）50人以下的学院，各推荐1名学生；留学生人数50人以上的学院，各推荐1名正选学生、1-2名备选学生。按推荐顺序填写《2018-2019学年优秀自费来华留学生奖学金汇总表》（加盖学院公章）及附件材料，于2018年5月24日中午12点前将推荐学生的申请材料与推荐汇总表报送学生处外国留学生管理办公室（校本部行政楼322室），电子版发送至895180093@qq.com（注明学院+来华奖学金）。联系人：宋多，电话：020-85222126。
